Role: Analyst / Associate, BFSI  Location: Gurgaon, India  Job Description:  A prominent family office is looking to hire a resource from the BFSI domain in its new age financial services vertical.   Key responsibilities include:  - Monitoring portfolio companies as well as the markets in which they operate.   - Engaging with portfolio company managements across functions to improve business performance including financial planning, strategy, expansion planning, etc.  - Undertaking industry and company research in BFSI vertical to support investment idea generation.   - Studying / analyzing digital initiatives / enhancers to be incorporated into various BFSI businesses part of the portfolio.  - Evaluating opportunities (organic and/or inorganic), building detailed financial models, support due diligence, and transaction closure.  - Successful candidates will be diligent, intellectually curious, and take complete ownership of projects.  Qualification and pre-requisites:  - Candidates with prior Strategy/M&A/Business Planning experience in BFSI vertical will be preferred. Candidates from investment management/management consulting/investment banking with deep understanding of BFSI vertical would also be considered.  - IIT+MBA/CA+MBA preferred.  - Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.   - Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy, strong work ethic, ability to multitask, desire to learn and teamwork- orientation.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  - Experience profile: 2 - 4 years
