ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT- CREDIT MIDDLE OFFICE  We have been retained by a foreign bank to identify a Assistant Vice President- Credit Middle Office to be based at Mumbai.  Job Purpose:  - Managing and guiding the credit administration and control function  - Monitoring and timely flagging of any non-compliance post-credit approval to relevant stakeholders  Responsibilities:  - To oversee the functioning of the Credit Administration and Control function and to act as a senior member of the risk management team.  - To ensure that credit exposures are compliant with the requirements and conditions as stipulated by the relevant approval authority and to report any deviations to respective stake holders.  - To be responsible for ensuring that all relevant (e.g. Credit, Legal, Compliance) approvals and conditions precedent are in place prior to facility drawdown  - To ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures and local regulatory requirements as well as to ensure that local credit control procedures are in place.  - To monitor collateral/security in line with the facility agreement and to initiate action in case of shortfalls  - To keep track of and to follow up on all pending issues that require monitoring  - To ensure that exposures are within approved bank - and country limits  - To safeguard all original credit and loan documentation  - To provide periodic management information to the Local Credit Committee: portfolio MIS, excesses, discrepancies, over dues, etc.  - To ensure and to maintain the integrity of client and facility data in the relevant banking systems  Desired Skills:  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills  - Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills  - Sound analytical and problem solving skills  - Drive to deliver results and desire for bigger achievements  - Strong planning and organizing skills  - Attentive to details and methodical  - A team player  - Independent mind  Candidate Profile:  - Candidates should be Chartered Accountants or MBA's from premier business schools with 8 to 12 years experience in Credit and/or Credit Control with a multinational corporate or investment bank with at least 5 years in management positions  - International credit risk and/or portfolio management experience  - Good understanding of legal environment in India  Interested candidates meeting with the above requirements may please respond with a recent photograph and resume in word format
