This ideal candidate should have experience in forging and building brand relationships.   - Some understanding of planning product cycles and selling online is preferred.   - The right candidate will be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and have strong analytical skills.   - He or she must have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced environment.   - He should be entrepreneurial with the confidence to make independent, data-driven decisions.   - The candidate must demonstrate the ability to succeed at: managing and driving a full P&L, team-building and management, planning and forecasting, and driving an online business.  - He or she must be able to develop clear thinking and business rationale for new features & services to bring customers ease-of-use and innovation.   - The candidate must be an effective communicator in working with some of Amazon's most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and groups.  Responsibilities :   This person will have responsibility for :  - Building selection: Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, brands and use cases, managing brand partners and getting support for marketing campaigns.  - Demand generation: Responsible for demand generation. This includes working with other members on the category management team to come up with innovative promotions and site features to improve customer experience.  - Business planning: Develop a short-term and long-term plan for business growth and work with senior management stakeholders on a regular basis on the state of key business metrics and initiatives to achieve category vision.  - Innovation: Invent and drive continuous process improvement and automation across our systems to allow us to scale a fast growing business. This will include liaising with the global Amazon community to drive innovation and share best practice.  Basic Qualifications :   - Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results  - Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.  - Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail  - Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment  - Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential  - A track record of success in past roles  - Candidate must be fluent in English  - Bachelor's degree is required  Preferred Qualifications :  - Master's degree is preferred  - Experience in consumer-facing sectors such as Retail, FMCG is preferred  - Understanding of fashion products (apparel, shoes, accessories) and experience in buying them is preferred   - Experience in fashion import in either online or offline retail  The position will be based in Amazon's office in Bangalore.
