We are looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Manager - Logistics with FMCG firm based in Pune.
Assistant Manager - Logistics will lead the Customer Service (Logistics) and will be responsible for entire Export and Import function
Job Qualifications :
Any Graduate with degree or diploma in export-import management having minimum 5 - 10 years experience of working in export-import department
Responsibility :
- Inventory planning
- Shipment planning and execution
- In-time imported material delivery to Factory without demur rage & Penal interest.
- Optimum freight rates for export containers & putting logistics into minimum cost, keeping track of imports and Exports consignments.
- Responsible for preparation of shipment plan for domestic and export market
- Preparing production plan in consultation with production Manager based on months total orders
- Arranging containers as per shipment schedule
- Co-ordination with dispatch Department,
- Preparation of exports & import documentation.
- Remittance of Import consignments, opening of Letter of Credit, submission of Bill of Entries to Bank,
- Regular follow up with CHA for imports and exports related consignments and documents.
- Liaison with Excise for regular export.
- Negotiations with shipping line for cost effective freight
CTC - Can go upto 16 LPA.
