Assistant Manager - Finance - CA - Retail

We are looking out for candidates who are CA Qualified.

Job Description :

- Be responsible for general ledger accounting such as expense booking etc.

- Assist team leader on monthly closing, ensure timely closing and deliver accurate financial report in compliance with both Group and statutory requirements

- Assist team leader process/system improvement projects

- Assist in annual audit process.

- Meet all Group requirements in relation to Group procedures and Group Reporting, especially in relation to the month-end closing reporting (under IFRS)

- Provide continuous support to team leader in setting up control mechanism on various internal controls processes.

- Other ad hoc projects where necessary.

- Provide continuous learning to commercial and finance teams and develop internal controls processes

- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company. Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management.

- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish potential areas of operational improvement.
