Designation : Assistant Sales Manager (Corporate)

- To develop corporate FIT and MICE business for our resorts and to mentor and develop the team for corporate segment in the operating region.
- Achieve the budgeted targets within the branch purview
Key Areas of Responsibility :
Strategy & Target :
- Systematically call on Key Corporate Accounts within the operating region and develop opportunities
- Pre-qualify and target Key Corporate Accounts, utilizing the database and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase hotel's market share for the operating region.
- Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities of team to identify new business opportunities from corporate clients in operating region. Follows up sale leads to identify prospect.
- Prepare an annual business plan ensuring regional objectives are fulfilled.
- Explore & Develop new markets.
- Bring new corporate accounts to the company
Research & Survey :
- Conduct regular Market Surveys and Competitor Research
Customer Interfacing :
- Handles guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.
- Meets top corporate decision makers & regular travelers to solicit business.
- Plans Sales trips to different parts of the operating region.
Inspections & Connect :
- Entertains and conducts hotel inspections to relevant representatives/delegates whenever required.
- Establishes strong contacts to source for information in regard to planned and upcoming functions/ events.
Leadership & Behavioral :
- Market segment knowledge and mapping of Corporate Customers in the operating region.
- Strong relationship with corporate in the market and to have the ability to swing business from Competition and bring in new accounts.
- Necessary team player attitude and spirit with a natural ability to establish consensus among cross functional lines in a collaborative environment.
- Efficient multi-tasking capability with a strong ability to plan, prioritize and manage complex business tasks under aggressive timelines.
- Must have demonstrated team-working skills and leadership qualities.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional clarity in thinking & delivering.
- Proven negotiation skills, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interface effectively with peers / senior management and Internal / External customers as well as ability to participate and facilitate group meetings.

- Good listening skills, participative style of management and willingness to invest time and effort in people development.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to generate team spirit, inspire, mentor and motivate team members in the context of the organization's objectives and goals.
Qualification:
- A management graduate with at least 4+ years of experience in Corporate Sales in the respective region with a recognized Hotel Company / Chain with an experience of leading a corporate team.
Key Relationship/Customers :
- Corporate /Business Partners, Operational Heads, Resort Managers, Central Reservations Team and Reporting Team.
