Job Title: Manager - IT Systems   Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain - PPGAP   Location: Kurla  Role Description  Job Purpose  - The role of a manager exists to translate Business Imperatives of JV into recognizable IT Systems that helps sync needs of PPG and AP. He would contribute by understanding PPG business needs and synthesizing them to drive action, align key stakeholders and execute. PPGAP is JV of Asian Paints.  Primary Responsibilities:  The following are the work related areas of responsibility:  - Lead the Information Technology and IT Infrastructure management within PPGAP  - Implement & co-ordinate policies, procedures and control plans   - Ensure security of data, network access and contingency plans. Preserve assets, information security & control structures  - Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to PPGAP policy  - Execute annual budget plans on IT spend and ensure cost effectiveness  - Create project pipeline for IT enablement and work with Business & functional leaders for execution support. Drive initiative with Asian Paints IT team  - Ensure alignment and prioritization with business objectives and initiatives - help business owners make faster, smarter decisions. Continuously develop and demonstrate improved analysis methodologies  - Regular tracking of Projects under execution along with cogent communication to all stake holders  - Regular Support and Maintenance of Projects that have been delivered to ensure any defects and incremental enhancements are redressed in a timely fashion.   Scope of Work  a) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports):  Direct Reports (0 to 2)  Indirect Report ( In Sites - 0 to 5)  b) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide): Will have responsibility across the organization involving all operating locations. However, this position is based at Corporate office of PPG Asian Paints at Kurla  c) Corporate Coverage : Company-wide  Key Interactions  Internal - Peers from IT and Business Hierarchy in PPG & AP  - Superiors from IT and Business Hierarchy in PPG & AP  External - Technology Product Vendors & Service Vendors  Role Requirements / Specifications  Qualification   Essential  - BE/B Tech (Computer Science) or a related technical field from an accredited institution  Desired  - PGDM/ MBA (Information Management)  Previous Experience   Essential  - 8-10 years- experience for lateral entries from Non Premier colleges and 2-4 years for B-school graduates  - At least 2 year experience in a managing Large no of Stakeholders  - Worked in ERP Environment   Desired  - Information Technology Services Role  Functional Competencies   - Sound understanding of User verticals & ERP tools  - Knowledge of managing networks - installation & administration   - Management of IT projects, information analytics & trends in Hardware/ software systems  - Understand business requirements and convert the same into written document for project scope finalization  - Proven quantitative ability and a passion for enabling customers to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.  - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively lead and influence interactions with both business and technical teams.  Behavioral Competencies   - High on Interpersonal Skills to influence BU & functional leaders ( Socially Active )  - Ability to drive initiative on his/ her own clubbed with common Sense   - Logical Thinking & Maturity  - Empathy  Additional Requirements   - JV uses all IT systems that APL has implemented. The role provides an opportunity to optimize value proposition to the JV in the chosen IT platforms, compare with what is available in Industry as well as PPG to make the current systems more user friendly.   - Support JV Leadership to create a pipeline of projects with cost implications, build financial justifications for approval and execute the same with APL support.  - Implement PPG reporting requirements while being on APL IT infrastructure.
