Role Description:   Job Purpose : Statistical Forecasting and Demand Planning  Primary Responsibilities :   Business Responsibility Areas :  - Statistical Forecasting using SAS solutions   - Statistical analysis of history, forecast, causal variables and events  - Statistical modeling, parametrization and model validation  - Maintenance, validation and management of master data, dependent and causal variables data  - Primary owner of all Demand Planning processes of DBU  - Efficiency and effectiveness of the Demand Planning processes  - Annual Planning and Long Term Planning  - Asian Paints Quality systems for Demand Planning - Process documentation, audits, reports, etc.  - Supporting the Divisional Demand Planners in statistical analysis Improving Forecast Accuracy  Generating analytical insights and statistical modelling  Key Interactions :   Internal :   IT & Systems, Divisional Demand Planners, Central Planning, NP support, Distribution, Sales & Marketing  External :   - Consultants and Service Providers  Role Requirements / Specifications :  Qualifications :  Essential :   - Graduate / PG. in Analytics, Statistics, Certified Business Analytics professional from top B schools, IITs  - Programming skills in SAS, R, SQL  Desired :   - SAS certified professional, APICS, CPF (IBF), CPDF  - UG experience of 2-3 years  Previous Experience :   Essential :  - Demand Analysis using SAS /R analytical solutions (2+ yrs) in FMCG industry  - Functional Competencies Statistical analysis, data modelling (big data), business understanding, programming skills   - Behavioral Competencies Good Communication, presentation, coordination,
