Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Meet or exceed orders booked and orders gross margin targets for electrical Substations projects and electrical engineering services in both -utilities and non-utility market segments
- Directly build new customer relationships and expand existing ones resulting in well-diversified orders profile for customers with a healthy pipeline of future opportunities
- Support and leverage business development team to meet individual and business unit objectives
- Work closely with Tender Managers and extended proposal team to ensure effective documentation, risk review, quoting and submission resulting in more contracts and business
- Contribute to marketing activities including development of marketing materials, customer and channel communication and trade show activities
- Lead development of business unit sales and marketing strategy for the target market verticals including public power, industry, renewable and other select growth segments
- Support management with key data and insights on market dynamics, target opportunity status, and key tactics being employed to effectively capture opportunities
- Working with BDS team to identify new opportunities for all business domains of Asa Bhanu Group
- Identifying key decision makers and influencers in current and prospective customer organizations and building rapport with them
- Building awareness among the key decision makers and influencers about capabilities and unique strengths of Asa Bhanu Group
- Identifying opportunities for brand promotion and networking with key stakeholders among the Government as well as corporate organizations
- Interacting with customers/Government officials/ decision makers at various stages of RFP, RFQ and bidding processes to understand the requirements more clearly and to understand the project context
- Supporting new business acquisition by actively participating in proposal development, bidding, customer interactions, presentations, business meetings and liaising
- Organizing meetings and interactions with customers among Government organizations as well as large corporate customers
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships and goodwill among Government officials, PSUs and other customers
- Creating multiple touch points to periodically interact with customers and prospects
