Our specialized Financial CRM solution enables banks get deeper into these markets and offer tailored financial products in a cost effective manner.

We- ve gained early traction among lending institutions across the country, and are growing rapidly. Through our partners, we disburse USD 7 Million in loans every month.

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious head of sales to help us take Artoo to the next level.

About you :

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for creating strategies to build the business and achieve sales goals. You are experienced in selling enterprise software to CXO-level (CEO, COO, Head of IT) decision makers. You understand the importance of technology to Financial Inclusion, and can drive deals forward while minimizing sales cycles. You love handling the product, but more importantly are passionate about communicating its value to the various individuals in the sales process. You will report directly to the COO.

Responsibilities :

- Define the sales strategy to build a strong pipeline of clients. Prospect and source new clients through introductions, conferences / networking events and other outbound sales activities

- Hire and develop a sales team, set targets, coach and nurture the team and create structure

- Meet with CEOs, COOs, IT Executives & other key stakeholders to pitch Artoo's product. Navigate organizations and persuade decision makers of Artoo's value in mission critical business functions

- Work through complex sales cycles and purchasing process to win new accounts :

a) Identify, build relationships and manage partners involved in the sales cycle

b) Tailor pitch materials to needs of clients

c) Perform comprehensive evaluations of client's business and build cost benefit analysis to help the client understand the impact of Artoo's solution

d) Conduct pricing and contract negotiations with senior decision makers

- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and constantly tweak sales strategy to remain competitive

- Ensure that all external communication / marketing collateral is current (website, brochures etc.)

- Work closely with the engineering team to infuse market intelligence and key business learnings into newer product features and versions

We ask that you have the following :

- Passion to work at the intersection of Financial Inclusion and Technology

- 6+ years of experience working in B2B sales, experience in enterprise software or financial technology is preferred

- 2+ years managing and growing a sales team

- Experience with long sales cycle in a mission critical, strategic product purchase decision

- Extensive prior customer relationships with lending institutions and banks. Existing CIO relationships and ability to develop C-level relationships within banks

- Familiarity with Financial Inclusion and Alternative Lending models is a huge plus

- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 10 days a month)

- MBA is a big plus
