Area Sales Manager - Mobility Prepaid
Position Summary
- This position requires setting up of distribution network in a defined area (may be comprising of multiple territories) and channel management for target achievement.
- It requires achieving business targets pertaining to sales, activation, revenue and CAF collection.
- Conducting merchandizing activities and ensuring high visibility of company in the defined territory.
- Driving channel expansion in the territory and ensuring expansion into innovative channels.
- Ensuring IT systems implementation in the defined territories.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new customers- Managing Gross adds, Net adds, Churn.
- Achieve Sales target for all products
- Responsible for Planning and achieving Brand wise and town wise growth with stress upon range selling and distribution expansion
- Develop territory, market penetration and sales execution strategies to consistently attain and exceed goals
- Manage relationship with Distributors, Activation & Recharge outlets
- Overall Business development by maintaining coordination between Sales& Marketing team, Supply chain & Finance in territory
- Understand the market, the customer and the competition.
- Train, motivate and coach the TSMs and the team of distributor FOS
- Increase the revenue-ARPU Increase, recharge.
- To focus on areas of improvement relating to channel expansion.
- To ensure 100% CAF compliance.
- To ensure 100% outlets are billed month on month.
- To ensure a healthy ROI.
- Zero conflicts in channel
- Channel expansion initiatives
- Ensuring IT automation systems implementation and smooth functioning in the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Achievement of Acquisition & Revenue Targets
- Manage and develop distribution network.
- Distributor short listing, appointment and training.
- POS appointment
- Retail base expansion
- Managing a team of frontline sales team for secondary sales, revenue, activation and CAF management
- Implementing the company sales & marketing processes and harnessing the full potential of the retail distribution system for all product range.
- Understand market trends, competition and suggest process improvements.
- Implement IT automation and other related processes for distribution
- Work closely with Zonal Sales Managers for sales performance
Education: Graduate / MBA Desirable
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in sales and distribution in Telecom/FMCG industry
