Looking for candidates for an Area Manager (RMC) role   - Handling 7 - 8 plants in the concrete division   - Team handling exp is a must   Experience: 14 years + in Concrete Business (RMC)  Location: Bangalore  - Candidates worked in the Concrete Division   Safety:  - Ensure safety standards and requirements are adhered to consistently in the area and take responsibility for safety in the Area.   - Provide leadership to instill Safety culture for the area  - Ensure proper implementation of the Safety Policy at all the plants and office under the area  - Undertake training programs to build up awareness for safety amongst employees in the area  - Undertake various other initiatives such as Safety Week, etc.   Business Development:   - Identifying new opportunities and untapped areas for expansion of business in the area  - Undertake market study to identify business potential for setting up plants to create presence in different cities in the Area  - Build a network of customers and build new contacts from such network  - Proactively visit customers and new contacts to identify opportunities  Operational Efficiency:  - Monitoring the operational performance at each plants as against the budgets and targets on a periodic basis  - Ensuring optimum utilization of plant capacity through effective scheduling of orders  - Evaluate options to put up dedicated plants for customers to improve efficiency and margins  - Undertake regular vendor development activities to ensure efficiency in raw material procurement  - Undertake cost reduction measure in raw material procurement  - Inventory control  Sales & Marketing:  - Driving marketing and sales team for Volume, ASP and new market penetration  - Regularly monitoring the collection status to ensure regular follow up of outstanding  - Keeping abreast of latest development in the market and creating a system for tapping market intelligence  People Management:  - Provide support to HR in identifying talent in the industry to build the teams  - Provide support to HR in identifying high potential employees within the team  - Develop IDPs and track progress on the IDPs on a quarterly basis for direct reportees
