Job Description and responsibilities for Area Credit Manager - SME, Working Capital, Term Loan  To effectively handle a team of credit managers.   To assist the Zonal Credit Head in planning, coordination and control on underwriting decisioning on retail lending proposals as per the product policy.   To maintain the portfolio quality for his/her product and team in the location, while ensuring adherence to the policy/process laid out by the central team on all applications being processed.  Responsible for positively impacting client experience by maintaining the underwriting TAT for team.  To monitor non starters/cheque bounce trends, maintain adequate knowledge of channels and their sourcing pattern.  To ensure audit compliance and regulatory compliance for the location.   To analyze delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.   To interact with customers to obtain additional credit information to support credit lines.   To develop processes and procedures for evaluating customer financials and setting and changing credit lines/limits, as well as credit holds.
