The services include -   - Entity Setup Support  - Transaction Advisory  - Liasioning Services  JOB SPECIFICATION  Position : Associate Vice President (AVP)  Location : Mumbai   Reporting to : Head - Transaction Advisory  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  The role would involve providing support to clients of Aranca for their financial and investment banking requirements. The opportunity is ideal for professionals who have 3-6 years of experience in financial/accounting due diligence, investment banking or transaction advisory and are interested in being a part of our growing corporate finance team. You will be part of the transaction advisory team and will get the opportunity to work on a live deal environment.  Financial / Accounting Diligence  - Perform financial and commercial due diligence on proposed investee companies for affiliate VC fund and other clients  - Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company   - Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, indebtedness considerations, borrowing base calculations, and/or business combinations and carve-out financial statements  Investment Banking / Deal Advisory  - Providing support to clients in screening ideas and creation of marketing collateral (including but not limited to pitch books, IMs, PPMs, and company profiles)  - Assisting companies with corporate finance activities including M&A, fund raising, strategic partnerships, JVs etc.  - Preparing target industry databases and company profiles  - Undertaking extensive research on various sectors and presenting relevant information through documents and presentations.   - Market research - Access and insights on industry research and views on sectors in the public and private markets  - Developing in-depth understanding on the M&A landscape in India  - Create financial/ business models including but not limited to merger models  - Extensive interaction with clients to obtain relevant information and presentation of ideas to them.  - Over the years, candidate should aspire to move up the ladder, with the growing team in supporting the Associate Director and Head of Practice and leading and directing teams independently.  POSITION REQUIREMENTS  Functional Requirements:  - CA with good grades / MBA from tier 1 B-School  - 3-6 years of experience in Financial/ Accounting diligence, Deal Advisory/ Transaction Advisory / Investment Banking and Company Valuation  - Strong financial and business analysis skills  - Understanding of New age and high growth economy sectors  - Ability to analyse and value businesses;  - Excellent analytical skills   - Proficiency in working on databases  - Excellent presentation and financial modelling skills   Soft skills & Behavioral skills:  - Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
