Job brief :   AppVenture is looking for Head - eCommerce who will head the SBU with P&L responsibility. We want people with entrepreneurial bent of mind who can create a startup within a startup and run the SBU independently and profitably. The identified will work with the Founders very closely to define the Business Plan and Strategy to bring in more ownership and responsibility. People with an employee mindset need not apply.   Responsibilities :   - The Head of eCommerce is responsible for managing the Service line related to online retail of Puja items and all other items related to Hindu culture and tradition  - Should be savvy in collaborating with Partners to source the right products at the most optimal price   - Responsible for building a team of dedicated and passionate staff members  - Should actively collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including technology partner, vendors and delivery partner.   - Should drive business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies  - Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within AppVenture for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives  - Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects having C2C, B2C or B2B eCommerce experience depending on your focus  - Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics  - Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability  Compensation will purely be through Revenue sharing model with minimum base salary as Fixed and ESOP to be vested over a period of time.
