Assistant Manager - Business Strategy

Overall Responsibilities :

Work on & assist COO in driving projects on strategic planning, annual business plans, business case development and formulating road map and strategy development on crucial areas. Work on key initiatives and projects to enable achievement of all business targets. Preparing and analysis of reports generated on terminal operations to identify gaps and formulate strategies to bring about efficiency in business process.

Key Responsibilities :

- Working on & assist in driving projects on strategic planning, annual business plans, business case development and formulating road map and strategy development on crucial areas.

- Structuring and executing analysis to support actionable deliverables.

- Consolidate & analyze information to review organization performance, competitions and organizations ability to face future challenges.

- Monitoring external business environment - competition, policies, market size, and market share and suggesting measures to enhance business competitiveness.

- Actively contribute in various presentations on business plans, growth, opportunities, and challenges.

- Anchoring key project work streams and client relationships for the cluster.

- Tracking internal performance - Own business performance reports, drive business performance diagnostics and set up a review rhythm with function heads.

- Stakeholder Engagement - Persuade/prioritize to build cooperation and consensus with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

- Conceptualization, creation & implementation of Sustainability & CSR Strategy for the Company.

- Reporting to COO of the company and assist him in driving company priorities & strategy.

Education :

- Required minimum MBA with relevant background.

Experience :

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Strategy, Business Performance Management, Senior Management Assistance and Internal Consulting and having following attributes:

- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills and good attitude

- Able to maintain high level of confidentiality

- Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.

- High degree of confidence, intellectual curiosity and a passion to learn and succeed

- Proven ability to build relationships with, and influence all levels within an organization

- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills

- Multi-functional experience (preferably across different countries)
