Overview  Senior Analyst will be a part of off shore team and will be responsible for understanding clients' business problems and working on developing various solutions to solve the business problems. You will be involved in the projects as a member / individual contributor assigned in the respective project team working with the other seniors / project managers.  Responsibilities:  - Work on different analyses using Operations Research methods to identify and solve business challenges  Develop optimization models using Linear Programming, Integer Programming, Mixed Integer Linear Programming to solve business problems in the domains of Supply Chain Management and Service Operations  Develop simulation models using Discrete Event Simulation and Monte-carlo simulation techniques applied to situations within Operations  Develop generic heuristics and data analytics solutions using Excel, VBA and other programming languages  - Work on various packaged solutions to customize them to client's requirements to solve specific business problems.  - Conduct routine data extractions and data validations   - Develop tools and create macros for processing repeatable tasks  - Ensure quality deliverables for all work performed by checking process followed and thinking through the output to ensure it makes business sense  Qualification / Skills required:  - Masters in Operations Research / Industrial Engineering / Systems Engineering or equivalent quantitative skills focused degree  - In-depth exposure to Statistics with good problem solving skills  - Good time management, project management, Communication Skills  - Flexibility to work across different projects as per requirement  - Good Understanding of a few of the OR tools and platforms such as IBM ILOG OPL Studio, CPLEX, GAMS, ARENA, @Risk, Crystal Ball  Experience Required  - 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role of applying OR techniques and tools to a variety of business problems in industry verticals such as Retail, FMCG, CPG, Pharma, Petroleum etc.
