BI Center of Excellence Lead is a key role within the Analytics team at Annik and will be based out of its HQ at Gurgaon.

Job Description :

- Build a BI practice with competency in best-in-class industry tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView and similar

- Actively prototype, and create case studies to help go to market strategies

- Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership & IT/ Business transformation recommendations in various technology areas.

- Provide technical & architecture guidance, for various technology areas in the BI arena

- Manage a team of BI developers

- Lead BI project delivery, ensuring team is delivering with time, cost and expected quality

- Collaborate closely with the global teams to develop proposals, presentations, SOWs and proactively recommend strategies to grow BI & Data Management presence in existing and new accounts

- Assist Account/Sales teams to manage the pre-sales process with clients and provide the leadership throughout the sales-cycle from initial qualification to closure of the deal

- Work with India/Global based practice teams on RFPs/Events/Go-to-Market (GTM) on solutions

- Work with the identified key alliance partners and software vendors to progress and help monetize partnerships

- Should be able to execute short term strategic consulting projects, assessments, map solutions to client business processes, and develop value proposition & business case

Essential Skill set :

- At least 5 yrs experience in BI reporting with hands on experience in one or more of the following tools - Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, Spotfire or similar

- At least 8 years of experience in Oracle/MS SQL Server 2008/2012

- Good (3-4 years) experience in table design, SQL queries and SQL programming, query optimization and stored procedures

- Experience on SSIS/SSRS will be preferred

- Hands-on Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce or similar technology

- Experience in dimensional/columnar databases

- Business Analysis skills like working with customers, understanding the business processes and recommending metrics

- Attention to detail in making sure the quality of visualization created is easily marketable

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills

- Thought leadership in the BI space and ability to build a practice

- Ability to play both roles as a hands on developer and a mentor and coach to a team

- Ability to "think outside the box" and to be able to solve problems quickly and completely

- Ability to learn new programming languages quickly

- Team management and mentoring

- Excellent Communication, Customer Interaction and Presentation Skills

- Should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT and Business Leadership levels (COO/ CIO Levels)
