Analyst - Structured Products - Banking

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Asset & Wealth Management APAC team, we are seeking to hire qualified candidates, who will assist the Structured Products team in providing enhanced investment solutions.

Key responsibilities of this role would include:

- Structured Products Solutions: Activities include Benchmarking, Backtesting, Modelling & Stress Testing

- Trade Ideas: Provide trade ideas including themes/underlyings that can be included in structured notes. Competitor analysis for opportunities on new products/notes

- Analytics: Perform analysis of existing holdings and provide options/ideas for restructuring/rollover

- Pitchbooks: Create pitchbooks for all structured notes

PERSON SPECIFICATION

A degree/post-graduate degree in Engineering, Finance or Economics with 0.6-3 years of experience in the financial markets is what we are looking in the ideal candidate. Due to the nature of the job you should have the following skill sets:

- In addition to a sound understanding of finance, we are looking for individuals exhibiting solid technical/programming skills – including knowledge of statistical languages, clear experience in programming complex models. Familiarity with database environment: Bloomberg and SQL Databases
