Analyst - Securitization - RMBS/CMBS - Investment Bank

- Candidate will be required to work with New York Securitized Product - CMBS Team.

- Candidate will be required to work on extraction, stratification, analysis and valuation for multiple asset classes

- Candidate would be required to model new CMBS deals into the system.

- Candidate should have strong understanding of the US CMBS market as the candidate will have to perform valuations and risk assessment of US CMBS held in various portfolios

- Candidate should have an excellent understanding of the Underwriting process as they would be required to perform underwriting for various CMBS deals on regular basis.

- A strong understanding of the US real estate market is required as the candidate would be required to identify potential adverse collaterals that affect the pricing of CMBS deals

- Candidates would be required to work on CMBS Credit Surveillance where they would need to scour news outlets for CMBS related property news and create alerts within the underwriting system

Work with the trading desk to override CMBS model inputs with new loss assumptions

Monitor BWIC activity and identify potential credit issues

Extract data on retail properties from REIT 10K filings and load into database

Work with research to develop a tiering system for retail properties

- Candidate would also be required to support Daily Operations and Pricing of CMBS Deals

Keep track of BWIC activity from customer base and load into our systems. Save color, covers from accounts where available

Perform daily and monthly pricing pre-processing based on trader moves

Assist with new issue index pricing

- Candidate would also be required to support Database Management with respect to existing and previous deals

Qualification :

- Graduate with 1 - 3 years relevant experience in investment Banking industry with detailed knowledge in Securitization ( RMBS/CMBS)

- Should have a strong understanding of how the CMBS Industry works

- Candidate should have a strong understanding of PowerPoint as the candidate would be required to make presentations to the Senior Management
