Hello Candidate,  Urgent opening for Operations (BPO & IO) Research Analyst in an IT Co. in Bangalore !  Designation : Operations (BPO & IO) Research Analyst  Location : Bangalore  Candidate Profile :  Work Experience : Minimum of 2+ years (maximum 4 years) business and competitor research experience, preferably in a consulting or IT services environment, IT services industry analyst firm, equity brokerage, communications provider or high tech industry, or demonstrated equivalent skill.  Education : Bachelors Degree in Information Studies or Computer Science, Business Administration.   - A full-time post-graduate degree/qualification preferably MBA/PGDM.  Salary : min. 7 Lacs.  - Familiarity with IT analyst sources (i.e., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, HfS Research, NelsonHall)  - Experience of writing reports, and presentation slides for delivery to internal and external audience a plus.  - Experience with alternative modes of research delivery/data visualization tools also a plus (e.g., Tableau etc.)  - Working with senior executive customers, who are the high end users of the research output.  - Outsourcing market: familiarity with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) would be particularly relevant.   Skills :  - Exp. (e.g. Cloud, IT Infrastructure, and IT Domain)  Job Description :  - The role requires proactivity and creativity, bringing new ideas for research projects to the attention of senior researchers in the Operations research team, as well as helping to deliver the Operations research agenda for FY16 and beyond.  - You will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of technology and business content sources, secondary research techniques, and subject matter knowledge with knowledge of Company and the marketplace to ensure the team's delivery of high value research results (i.e., highly synthesized, packaged findings derived from existing information and data sources).  - Research requests will be a mix of global and local projects, both for Company, internally, and directly for Company's clients.  - On any given day, you will support research needs relevant to the Company's Operations themes, such as strategy, delivery, competitor research and/or ecosystem trends.  Key responsibilities would include :   - Executing the overall Operations research strategy, working closely with your supervising Research Manager, and other Operations researchers around the globe.  - Working closely with others in the research team to build effective, trust-based relationships with clients in the Practice and their support functions (Marketing, Sales, Strategy, etc.) to ensure sponsorship and utilization of research services.  - Supporting Company's clients and business development teams with a range of types of analysis: company profiles, market segment profiles, analysis of company's competitors, thought leadership audits, issue-based research, data-driven research, financial analysis, business capability-related research.  - Deepening and refining our expertise in the sources and subject matter (issues and trends) that are relevant.  - Contributing to the development of research assets that differentiate Company Research in the market, e.g., forecasting of market trends, modelling of survey data to size markets, impact evaluation of digital innovation in financial services, etc.  - Identifying new sources of relevant BPO/Infrastructure Services/Cloud content and contribute to evaluations of external content for acquisition.  - Actively contributing to Company both locally and globally.  - Taking part in team building activities, supporting your local Company Research lead and the global Company Operations Research team (e.g., contributing to team training, sharing your knowledge and actively participating in other team events).   Reports to : Company Operations-BPO Research Manager  NB :   - By - knowledge- of one sector we mean understanding of some major segment trends, competitors, technology, etc.  - Cloud and / or Infrastructure Services segments, with emphasis on infrastructure- and platform-related Cloud knowledge.  - Security segments i.e. application security, identity management, data protection, infrastructure security, cloud security, mobile security, TVM, Cyber security, incidence response, etc.  - Solid Research capabilities: able to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question; able to use most research techniques such as secondary database searching, company analysis, market analysis, strategic analysis frameworks, interview-based research and financial analysis.  - Analytical ability: Track record in research projects using econometric modelling and statistics   If Interested, please reply With your current updated CV.  Also mention following details :   Total Work Experience : Relevant Work Experience in working on Competitive Analysis & Secondary Research : Current CTC : Expected CTC : Notice Period : Reason for leaving last job :  Jui Kulkarni Recruitment Associate PES HR Services Ph.: +91-22-49856806
