SAPMAP - Analyst / Functional Consultant

Role Description:

- The Functional Consultant is responsible for consulting with clients in the Retail and Consumer Goods industries to develop System Solution Architecture and for implementation of SAP solutions.

Mandatory skills - one or more of the following:

- SAP - MAP

Optional skills: any of the following modules in addition to the above:

- SAP - MM - Material Management

- SAP - SD - Sales and Distribution

- Pricing

- SAP - FI - Finance

- SAP - CO - Controlling

- SAP - F&R - Forecast & Replenishment

- Understanding of SAP Network requirements and Infrastructure will be an advantage

The role of a Functional Consultant involves:

- Conducting requirement workshops for clients

- performing detailed analysis of Business Processes & Requirements;

- collaborating with client team, business process architect and delivery team to drive solution architecture

- creating roadmaps that define the migration from the current state to the future state

- Designing & configuring SAP Solutions

- Guiding Change Management team to prepare for transformation

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience - with at least one implementation experience:

- Evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating packaged solutions into a client system landscape and solution, with focus on SAP

- Designing & configuring SAP Solutions

- Preparation of business scenarios, test cases, use cases & UAT scenarios

- Ability to advise clients on a range of business issues and credibility to gain buy-in for solutions.

- Ability to interact with many levels of Accenture management, client organization and solution alliance partners - from senior IT and business leaders to engineers on project teams

- Holistic understanding of target industriesand experience implementing best practices

- Excellent presentation and business proposal development skills

- Inter-personal skills, Team and Project Management skills

- Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines

- Relevant experience in and / or certification from SAP

- Willingness to travel as per project requirements – within India or overseas - is critical.

- Possessing valid work visas for target geographies will be an additional advantage

Minimum Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed institution (Engineering or IT domain)

- Business Management Degree from a reputed institution or Masters Qualification in Management of Information Systems - strongly preferred

Years of Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in Consulting, or IT system implementation industry

Job Location: Gurgaon or Bangalore
