Amway - Manager - Transformation - Distribution Enhancement

Role Objective:

To create an optimized e-Commerce setup for the distribution and to design a LEAN warehousing and logistics value chain along with a robust in store and home delivery model

Key Responsibilities:

- Change Management in distribution Setup

Improvements in distribution restructuring including:

- Exploration & execution of technological solutions for Home delivery including use of Web / Mobility based applications and its integration with ERP/IMS.

- Expertise in Last Mile delivery system buildup along with vendor management.

- OMS knowledge and designing fulfillment patterns and rules based on organizational parameters.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and familiarity with configurations and integrations of the same.

- Detailed know how about the courier and last mile industry including benchmarking parameters and processes and how to enable the same by technology.

- Automation in warehouses along with the consolidation exercise. Technology implementation for WHs.

- Exploring capable IT solutions for higher productivity in warehouses and Last Mile at par with Global standards

- Standardization of Home Delivery services including processes, technology for tracking & MIS and its enactment.

Driving service Excellence including:

- Customer service improvements

- Enhancement in overall Home Delivery experience including shipping, delivery of the consignment, packaging & value-added services.

- Improving Home Delivery network and IT integration with service provider having bigger infrastructure and IT capabilities

Essential Requirement:

- Sound understanding of technology used in Warehousing and home delivery

- Working experience & sound understanding of warehousing handling & control

- Working experience in distribution planning

- Should have experience of improvement projects in Distribution / Logistics/Ecom.

- Understanding logistics cost & service levels and its control

- Warehousing requirement assessment, setup, basic material handling & automation

- Knowledge of Primary distribution logistics - handling stocks movement within warehouses and from warehouses to customers

- Service providers capabilities & SP replacements

- Financial analysis and management

Educational Background: MBA in Operations or Logistics or Transformation Management & B.E in Mechanical/ Chemical.
