- The incumbent will have end to end excellent knowledge of India Fixed Asset Process (USGAAP/IGAAP)   - The incumbent will be required to front-end multiple audits in FA process, He/She should be capable of handling and facilitating various inter/external Audits on Fixed Assets   - The position shall be responsible for ensuring Fixed Assets - Operational Controls Review, with an eye towards efficiency and control   - He / She should have strong Custom/ Excise, India tax working knowledge and skills to interact with regulators   - The incumbent will be expected to have thorough and detailed understanding of inputs, processes, controls, flows, metrics, risks, SLA and outputs of the process area.   - The incumbent will be responsible for all month-close related activities and perform periodic process reviews e.g. secondary reviews, MJE reviews and approvals, CF6 reporting   - Fixed Assets process directly/ indirectly linked to SOX controls one of which is ensuring 100% physical verification of all (irrespective of value) assets in India.   - The incumbent is expected to perform periodic PRSA control testing. Should have sound knowledge around PRSA controls and related policies and procedures   - The incumbent is expected to perform monthly/annually RCM control testing. Should have sound knowledge around RCM controls and related policies and procedures   - He / She should have strong accounting and systems knowledge. Having strong Oracle and Millennium system knowledge will be preferred   - He / She should have worked in a project earlier - any project on automation will be preferred   - The position shall be responsible for managing accounting and reporting of AXP balance sheet accounts   - The incumbent should be able to maintain high accuracy and productivity standards.   - He/ She shall be required, among other things, to maintain close contact with customer / business partners, Technologies and other interface groups including co-ordination with related business groups on a need- basis.   - He/ She shall ensure that all deadlines are continually met and adequate controls are maintained over the processes   - This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.   - Requires high degree of integrity, personal accountability, and persuasion skills   - Knowledge of India Legal Entity structure and good accounting expertise on both from USGAAP and IGAAP perspective   - Expertise on AMEX policies e.g. GAP-360 and IGAAP AS10, AEMP01 etc. including tax requirements   - Most of fixed assets links/ impacts employees across all Office locations in India requiring careful handling with compassion  Qualifications :   - Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) with minimum 3-4 years of post-qualification experience or B. Com. with more than 6 years of experience   - High-energy, proactive and able to respond to queries under tight timelines with limited guidance   - He/ She should have sound understanding of Control/ SOX etc   - Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create clear, compelling presentations   - Ability to work independently   - Strong Collaboration and relationship building skills   - He/ She should have sound knowledge of American Express policies   - He/ She should have tenured one year or more in current band level/position as on the date of application deadline   Job type - Full Time  Industry Type - Finance   The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
