Description - - Accelerating growth momentum is a key objective for Merchant Data Products & Capabilities (MDPC) team in Enterprise Digital and Analytics (EDA). The team is developing new business opportunities, launching new products and services, and expanding product distribution to support merchant value and drive revenue growth. - The team is focused on meeting the business needs of our merchants by creating information products and services that leverage the American Express closed-loop data. Ever since this team was formed, many new products and services have been launched. - The vision for the team is to maximize the commercial opportunities for American Express through the use of our unique information to meet customer needs - American Express Merchant Data Products & Capabilities team in EDA offers powerful data and actionable insights to help businesses improve performance and capitalize on new opportunities. Our unique core asset is our industry-leading global database of customer demographics and detailed spend behavior from the American Express network of cards conducting billions of transactions annually & globally. - This role will be part of the Sales and Business Enablement (SABE) team in GBS based out of Gurgaon supporting Merchant Data Products & Capabilities team in EDA by leading a team of business systems analysts through in depth knowledge of a business & product development, platform & project management. - A part of this role will also involve leading the Robotics Process Automation Team for SABE wherein the candidate will lead couple of Blue Prism developers/ consultants and work with various teams in SABE & other business partners to identify, prioritize, deploy and provide support for automating the identified use cases. The person will be responsible to lead these work streams. Responsibilities : - Lead, coach and mentor a team of business analysts to drive product development and data quality framework for the widely used reporting product for merchant business - Work with customers to identify, specify and document complex business requirements and provide appropriate solutions, specifically around prioritized product enhancement initiatives - Review design solutions with technology and business partners to ensure requirements are captured accurately and product design is optimal - Coach business system analysts to create / document / execute User Acceptance Test cases for new product capabilities - Develop optimal automation solutions using Blue Prism and/ or similar Robotics Process Automation/ Robotics Desktop Automation technologies such as Automation Anywhere, Pega etc. - Develop user best practices guidelines and provide consulting and training to business users - Manage application issues and drive towards a speedy issue resolution. - Lead new product implementations, preparing project plans with other supporting information, and providing project status - Manage customer expectations including scope, schedule, changes, capacity and problem resolution - Drive high engagement with customers to ensure on-time, high quality project deliverables - Lead effort to automate and standardize new product development to increase efficiency and accuracy - Provide functional and technical guidance to the team - Conduct deep analysis to uncover trends, recommend business solutions and implement strategic initiatives - Drive partner and team engagement through governance call,1 on 1 s and other connects - Team development evaluation assessing proficiency on tools, technologies and data - Perform various ad hoc analyses as needed to support business - Get involved in strategic initiatives of SABE to advance service offerings and support Exec teams in strategy building exercise Qualifications and Key Skills : - 8+ years- experience leading a team in Data & Product management domain and having flavor for automation using cutting edge technologies such as RPA and RDA - Proven people and product management skills - Demonstrated ability to drive results and manage multiple relationships and projects, proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change - Ability to prioritize and deliver work within a deadline-driven climate - Financial acumen and problem solving skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a tremendous will to win with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and decision makers across customer and Technology organizations - Strong communication skills oriented toward working with customers to document their product needs - Demonstrated experience using Agile Methodology. - Experience in the creation of User Acceptance Test cases. - Experience working within a complex data warehouse environment is a strong plus - Experience validating business requirements - Strong hands on experience and knowledge of SAS and Big Data technologies (Python, Hive, PySpark) - Knowledge of Hadoop architecture & related tools/technologies - Working knowledge of Robotics Process Automation specifically in Blue Prism - Exposure to other Robotics technologies such as Automation Anywhere, Pega etc. are a definite plus - Experience of Amex data, processes & systems is a plus - Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering, Statistics, OR, Management, Science or other quantitative disciplines Job type- Full Time Industry Type - Operations The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
