The Customer Marketing Analytics Team is responsible for developing, innovating and integrating information driven marketing analytics and capabilities for the American Express international card business.

Manager customer marketing analytics, will be leading a team that is responsible for the development of personalization capabilities for the existing customer portfolio by leveraging closed loop and other internal/external data to make offer targeting more intelligent and relevant.

- The incumbent will be specifically responsible for managing customer x-sell and insurance response predictions models and drive the execution of the new response prediction models.

- The successful candidate is required to work closely with various partners and stakeholders in many different parts of the organization including IMS central channel strategy teams, technologies, regional marketing teams.

- The role requires a strong analytical focus and the successful candidate is expected to exhibit a high level of expertise in understanding data, drawing meaningful insights and guiding strategy through statistical analysis, decision support logic and other data techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership for several team members. Attract the right level of talent and mentor/develop team-members for a highly motivated team

- Oversee conceptualization and development of customer personalization/targeting capabilities

- Lead the implementation of key high business impact initiatives

- Build and leverage linkages with broader organization (including IMS central teams, Risk, Technologies, AXPi, Privacy, central and local Marketing teams).

- Institute proper controls and tracking mechanisms for the capabilities implemented

- Communicate value driven by the team to partners, senior leadership and various stakeholders to influence decision making

- Conducting in-depth assessment of new data-sources and research on newer analytical processes and techniques including big data machine learning algorithms.

- Stay current with trends in digital marketing, social, location and mobile based marketing efforts.

Qualification :

- MBA/Master's Degree In Economics, Statistics or related fields from a reputed institute

- 5-6 years of relevant work experience with consistent track record of strong performance

- Aptitude for designing algorithms and programming to solve complex unstructured business problems

- Prior experience in analyzing online data / machine learning techniques is a plus

- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, VB is preferred

- Ability to drive results with strong thought leadership

- Excellent analytical and problem solving aptitude

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
