American Express - Financial Analysis Manager - Quality

Responsibilities:

- Inculcate Quality DNA across Global Financial Operations (GFO). Develop, Lead, support and manage Quality Trainings (Self paced and Instructor led)

- Manage Idea inventory across GFO VP Areas, initiate and lead project discussions on high impact business ideas leading to successful project completion

- Coach, mentor, support Quality Green Belt, Black Belt and LEAN Projects in partnership with operations teams

- Build and institutionalize robust Governance to ensure all the Quality deliverables are delivered timely and accurately.

- Responsible for Quality Dashboard, Key metrics and reporting to Senior Leadership.

- Shift the focus from information delivery to value added analysis that facilitates and enables for business decisions.

- The incumbent shall quickly gain detailed understanding of inputs, processes, controls, flows, metrics of the process area and come up with innovative solution/frameworks that creates win-win synergies

- Ensure smooth implementation of the tasks independently and manage change effectively.

- Uses specialist knowledge to support operations team in process improvements

- Self starter and handles customers/stakeholders for any queries independently

- Acts as SME in the Quality domain and have a solution oriented mindset

- Help/coach team members of larger Service Excellence Team with Quality concepts/approach

- Supports, leads process/customer level projects & develop solid partnership with key stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Graduate/Post Graduate with 4+ years of work experience

- Six Sigma Certification (minimum Green Belt)

- Experience in Project Management

- Working Experience of Minitab (A plus)

- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

- Demonstrated ability to run high impact projects with minimum supervision

- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders

- Analytical mindset

- Understanding of operations and processes preferably in Global Financial Operations

- Strong relationship management, ability to lead and influence others in a cross-functional environment

- Strategic thinker who can partner with key stakeholders to drive the direction of the business

- Self starter with ability to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
