Business Overview The Global Servicing Network (GSN) delivers extraordinary customer care to Card Members and merchants around the world, while providing world-class credit, collections and fraud services, and driving revenue growth for the company. The GSN MIS and Analytics team is responsible for providing Executive Decision support through advanced analytics and MIS, helping the organization to leverage our competitive advantage and capitalize on the unique asset of Relationship Care- to drive customer engagement to deepen loyalty with our customers and drive brand advocacy. Team has a global footprint though this position will be based out of the American Express Service Center in Gurgaon, India. Key Responsibilities - Provide technical and thought leadership for fast-paced and highly complex projects involving design, development, implementation, enhancement and management of Big Data solutions for Global Servicing Network - Effective Stakeholder management by partnering closely between business and technology teams - Ability to do hands-on coding especially to develop proof of concepts and implementing strategic features and functionality. - Coach, guide and promote create of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables - Partner closely with managers, team members and subject matter experts within the COE to provide seamless support on ongoing strategic initiatives - Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards or practices to assigned initiatives - Participate on global teams evaluating processes and making suggestions for process and system improvements Qualifications - Overall 10+ years of experience including 5+ years of experience in identifying, implementing, and analyzing wide array of systematic, Big Data &amp; Data warehousing and BI solutions -to address business requirements - Strong project management skillset with ability to manage relationships with wide variety of business partners - Strong analytical and problem solving experience - Demonstrated ability to influence alignment without authority, including ability to find win-win solutions with partners with range of goals. - Experience with Big Data, Hive, Pig, Spark, Elastic Search/ SOLR, and associated Business Insights tools - Experience in building products powered by data science and machine learning and passion for learning new technologies - Ability to do Knowledge transfer with both internal staff and customers - Excellent written and verbal skills in English - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
