Compensation & Benefits Analyst - APAC - 1 year Fixed Term Contract  Key responsibilities:  Executes C&B processes in APAC:  - Main responsibility will be for Employee Benefits (Insurance policies for Medical, Life and Disability).   - Will also assist in other programs like salary increase processes, Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), periodic or ongoing promotions, M&A.  Supports the implementation of C&B policies & procedures:  - Analyzes complex data, provides compensation & benefits analyses and simulations on individuals or groups to support decision making  - Provides ongoing support to the business (managers, employees, Finance, legal, HR and other functions) on the various aspects of compensation & benefits.  - Maintains ongoing contact with external compensation and benefits vendors.   Exceptional requests:  - Provides research and data analysis for HR C&B Experts or Lead for exceptional / non-standard / tailored compensation and benefits packages or elements of pay.   Communication of Compensation & Benefits Packages:  - Is involved in the structuring of communication materials regarding the various aspects of compensation & benefits.  - Supports the development of communication materials by providing data analyses.   Best Practice:  - Stays up to date on C&B trends and market practices, and applies that knowledge to day to day practices.  - Conducts analyses of market trends, providing basic insights from compensation & benefits surveys.   Mergers, Acquisitions & Rebadging:  - Is involved with such ad hoc projects as restructuring activities, mergers & acquisitions, Rebadge transfers  - Assesses cost impacts and practical considerations of harmonizing or making any changes to the compensation and benefits of transferring employees.   HR Information Systems, C&B modules and related systems:   - Develops and generates reports from IT systems and databases, and perform data reconciliation.  - Is involved in the configuration and testing of new HR Information systems.   Critical Experiences   - Must have experience in and proficiency with advanced spreadsheets at a high level, preferably in the use of formulas and macros.   - 2 to 4 years post qualification experience, minimum 1 year in C&B  - Experience working in a multi-cultural global company - advantage.   Credentials:  - Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, HR or BBA.   - Post graduate diploma or degree in HR or equivalent - advantage   Role Competencies   - Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving - Gathers relevant data, identifies trends and root causes, and draws logical conclusions to develop solutions   - Focus on Quality: Ensures all essential details have been considered and products or processes meet established standards   - Operational Efficiency - Seeks opportunities to enhance efficiency of work methods, models and processes while maintaining costs and ensuring adherence to high quality standards
