The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing best in class marketing campaigns on Amazon. This role is based in Bangalore.  The Site Merchandiser will help develop, schedule and execute innovative customer engagement driving campaigns focused on the mobile platform, including app only events and gamification based campaigns. They will also compile and analyze traffic and other web metrics, and report on performance to our management teams and propose, plan and execute new campaigns with minimal oversight by coordinating with category teams, designers, project managers, channel managers, and other editors in similar roles across the business.  Technical requirements include HTML, XML and Excel, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly. In addition to having first-class written and verbal communication skills in English the successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, and work well with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be innovative and internally motivated and have strong interest in and some experience with online marketing.  Ongoing responsibilities include:  - Planning and executing the merchandising calendar for app marketing initiatives including campaigns in collaboration with category teams, cross-site campaigns and push notification campaigns.  - Supporting and scaling up existing gamification initiatives such as App Treasure Hunt, Quizzes, and Train on Cards etc.  - Designing & merchandising beautiful & effective content marketing programs  - Conceptualizing and executing new mobile marketing campaigns centered around engagement e.g. deals based, gamification based campaigns  - Working with individual category teams on specific app engagement programs e.g. App only cashback offer for an Exclusive launch, App Fashion Quest for AIFW, Quiz for Home and Kitchen brands etc.  The Site Merchandiser must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:  - Experience designing and executing online customer experiences  - Strong communication skills; experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management  - Strong bias for action, invent and simplify and ability to prioritize  - Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations  - Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast paced environment  - Capability to meet our technical requirements, which include HTML, XML and Excel, plus the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly  The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
