The TRMS team safeguards the order pipelines; monitoring, tracking, and managing risk to ensure long-term buyer satisfaction.   As a member of Amazon's TRMS Global Planning and Site Strategy (GPSS) the successful candidate will assume primary responsibility for driving new innovation for global forecasting and headcount/capacity planning. The ideal candidate will possess both an analytical background that enables them to standardize methodologies and data to develop and successfully implement tools, systems and processes that empower the accurate prediction, measurement and reporting of demand forecasting, productivity, headcount, capacity and workforce compliance/adherence. In this role, you will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.  The optimal candidate is an experienced and vibrant professional who will excel within an entrepreneurial culture - providing vision, leadership, and communication - but not afraid to dive into details. They should also foster transparent customer relationships, balance frugality with creativity and function and able to successfully work in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment.   Key responsibilities include:  Customer Relationships - Develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external TRMS departments to build, drive and implement sustainable, strategic projects that create value and address the needs of all stakeholders; investigate underlying issues and create short and long-term solutions.  Project Planning & Management   - Fully define project scope and deliverables; identify impacted parties, stakeholders & project resources; gather, analyze, and prioritize customer and program requirements  - Document constraints, dependencies, and assumptions  - Define project success measures, timelines and milestones; drive project schedules and manage implementation of the tool or process  - Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams; identify criteria for decision making and priorities  - Create & maintain project documentation such as project plans, functional requirements and specifications, gap and dependency analyses, risk analyses, project briefs, and periodic reports  - Engage directly with key resources to proactively identify, analyze, and creatively solve initiative blockers  - Identify high level training needs, complexity of training and deploy solution to end users and provide support/training as needed  - Drive a rigorous and proactive cadence of analysis and reporting, keeping stakeholders well informed and engaged in key decisions  - Develop and manage plans and roadmaps that successfully deliver promised results  - Develop metrics to measure and ensure solution effectiveness  - Remove obstacles and work towards consensus   - Deliver projects with documented process workflows, data maps, process RACI, standards & guidelines and sustainment plan   - Answer key business strategy questions from Senior Leadership  Basic Qualifications   - Degree in project management, finance, statistics, business, economics or related field  - 5+ years in program/project management of medium to large, cross-functional projects that serve major parts of the business  - 3+ years leading cross functional teams or directly managing people  - Experience setting and/or collaborating on business objectives in order to deliver best product/feature or system/process with most efficient use of resources and technologies.  - Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment  - Excellent speaking/listening/writing skills, attention to details, proactive self-starter  - Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions   - Problem solving and data analysis skills  Preferred Qualifications   - Capacity Planning (Forecasting and Headcount planning) / Workforce Management experience strongly preferred  - Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, more advanced, logical excel formulas (IF-THEN, TRANSPOSE, VLOOKUP, custom macros and automation)  - Experience making large scale decisions for a network of sites strongly preferred   - Experience translating roadmaps and key performance indicators as well as recommendations to senior leaders  - Experience utilizing SQLAs this a global role where key stakeholders will be spread in geography/time, the concerned individual should be motivated/flexible enough to work in US/Europe day time (India Night hours).
