The ideal candidate has outstanding business acumen and judgment, intense curiosity, excellent analytical abilities, strong technical skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. He/she will have a strong bias toward data driven decision making. He/she will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects, able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. He/she will work closely with Operations, Category, Finance and Tech teams (WW platforms). The scope for this role includes the following: 1. Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the future of FBA in India. 2. Drive development of quantitative models for evaluation and implementation of new pricing strategies. 3. Collaborate with Product managers to develop pricing recommendations for new features or services. 4. Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, communication of insights, building recommendations and working with partner Tech teams across platforms. 6. Participate in periodic reviews with Leadership teams (IN and Global). 7. Reporting of key insights and trends and inform the larger team of noteworthy story lines The ideal candidate has - Atleast 5+ years of experience in retail, internet, consumer goods in the B2C or B2B domain OR 5+ years of experience in managing business for P2P transactional platforms - Comfortable making strategic decisions that have high long term impact - Strong negotiation abilities and financial acumen, a high degree of ownership and integrity, and a high attention to detail. Ability to build relationships with external entities with controls on timelines, cost and returns. - An independent self-starter who thrives in connecting people and ideas and have a strong entrepreneurial drive. - Ability to define efficient and scalable processes that balancing customer expectations and Amazon costs - Excel at communication and are comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization. - Ability to influence executive decision-makers, helping them to understand the proposition of the used and open box business. - Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and outside partners to drive growth and process improvement for your business. - Is able to manage multiple competing priorities smoothly Basic qualifications - Atleast 5+ years of experience in retail, internet, consumer goods in the B2C or B2B domain OR 5+ years of experience in managing business for P2P transactional platforms - Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets. Experience managing multiple projects from conception through implementation - Knowledge of accounting, financial, operational, and marketing principles - Experience solving complex quantitative business challenges; experience in the development of pricing analysis is a strong plus. - Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with and influence both business and technical teams. - Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action. - Demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences. Preferred qualifications - MBA/Masters/Ph.D degree. - Experience with operational excellence and process improvement methodologies like six sigma and kaizen - Communication skills (verbal and written) for internal and external audiences. - Experience with SQL or Data querying and analysis tools is desired.
