Amazon India is growing at a phenomenal pace and the Consumer Marketing team is one of the engines that is driving this growth. Much of this growth is driven on the mobile platform and the mobile business team within the consumer marketing team, is responsible for acquisition, engagement and product experience on mobile.  - In this role, you will be a part of the product management team that is responsible for customer acquisition and engagement of the Amazon IN app. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing product enhancements that help drive customer to the Amazon IN app and shape the customer journey on the app.   - You will evangelize new large scale and creative product engagements and programs that increase engagement. You will also be responsible for building the vision for the app and build consensus around it with key business owners and stakeholders within Amazon and across geographies. If you are a big thinker, like strategic projects, a strong people manager and are passionate about mobile, this role will excite you.   As a Senior Product Manager, your key responsibilities will include :  Product Strategy : Continually assess the Indian mobile landscape, market trends, competitive opportunities and threats in defining and evolving the Amazon.in product strategy for customer acquisition and engagement on the Amazon.in app. Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve the product vision, delivering business results and making Amazon.in the most popular shopping app in India.  Roadmap Planning : Ensure consistent execution of product life-cycle processes from concept to launch. Provide value-based prioritization of product development initiatives to ensure maximum ROI and market-driven alignment. Deliver world-class innovation in features, usability and product performance in predictable releases. Manage a cross-functional process for prioritizing, delivering and launching major product releases. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus. Work closely with the World Wide Consumer Marketing and Product teams for cross prioritization of initiatives and ensure we build with a global perspective.  Requirements Definition : Develop comprehensive product plans, incorporating market requirements, define the competitive arena, and establish the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals. Produce high quality BRDs and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product/feature launch to deliver key capabilities on time and on budget. Writes user stories to communicate customer needs in an agile development environment.  Product Roll-out : Create and execute go-to-market plans for new features. Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimization opportunities. Partner closely with the Marketing teams to drive adoption and ensure processes for on boarding that are easy and intuitive.  Feedback Incorporation : Create a close looped system to actively gather feedback from all the product launches and incorporate it into future releases. Develop a culture of experimentation with all features being launched to a limited set of users, measure all success metrics, gather feedback and iterate to arrive at the best possible customer experience.  Basic Qualifications :  The Senior Product Manager should have :  - MBA from a premier Indian or international business school.  - 7+ years of product management experience on e-commerce or mobile applications.  - Proven track record of translating customer needs into business / product requirements.  - Proven leadership experience in managing projects, products and services.  - Extremely passionate about providing a good customer experience with a deep understanding of UX best practices.  - Self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, strong ownership, high commitment and a strong business judgment.  - Enjoy working in a startup environment, with proven ability to innovate and work customer backwards.  - Ability to think strategically and prioritize in an ambiguous environment.  - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of product.  - High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.  - Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.  - Must have bias for action and strong work ethic.  Preferred Qualification :  - Experience in mobile eCommerce or product management for mobile applications.
