As Marketing and Content Director, you will lead a team to drive key elements of our marketing (eg. site content, events, social) and partner with centralized teams to create and drive the marketing strategy and plans for Softlines on and off the platform. - You will have direct responsibility for key components of the marketing mix - events, social, and editorial. For example, Amazon sponsors Amazon India Fashion week (- AIFW- ) and you will lead our strategy for AIFW to ensure its success. You will identify if there are other events that Amazon should participate in to build Amazon's fashion credentials while also adding important selection to Amazon.in. You will make recommendations and secure support for these investments and your team will program manage these events. The creative and editorial team will report to you and will create content that provides significant value for our customers and brand partners. - Amazon is also investing in significant marketing activities beyond these events - TV, print, billboards and more - with some of these focused exclusively on our fashion business. You will act as the point of contact for key internal teams like the Integrated Marketing team and category teams to ensure the needs of our fashion business are reflected in these activities and delivered. You will support these programs to ensure flawless execution and that the creative is not only inspiring for consumers but linked to products that Amazon's customers will purchase easily on Amazon.in. Thus, you will be responsible for partnering with the Traffic team to develop an integrated marketing approach across Direct, Free Search, Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, Display Advertising, Online Video and Mobile that will drive awareness of Amazon Fashion and fuel sizeable long term growth goals. You will also partner with the Integrated Marketing Campaign Team to develop a strategy for non-digital activities like print, out of home and television. - The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically and execute flawlessly. He or she will have a proven track record of delivering results, ideally in e-commerce fashion. Keys to success will be the ability to utilize customer insight and data to develop marketing programs, design sophisticated tests and quickly double down on programs that show success. This individual must excel in managing and navigating cross-functional efforts and partnering with buying, customer experience, analytics teams and centralized marketing and traffic teams. The successful candidate will take smart risks that can be automated and scaled to big ideas. Core Responsibilities : - Build marketing strategies for Amazon fashion to succeed in achieving business goals which requires that you work closely with cross-functional and business teams to create and deliver effective marketing programs, campaigns and events. - Lead our brand storytelling and create a tone of voice for our growing business. Deliver inspiring and commercially relevant editorial across a range of touchpoints: fashion features, storefront copy, product page copy, emails, PR copy and social media. - Lead the seasonal planning process including setting the framework for each season identifying key target customers, initiatives, and featured product categories, measure results and incorporate into future plans. - Develop and manage the seasonal content strategy and plan/schedule for Amazon Fashion EU, ensuring integration with overall business goals/strategies. Testing, learning and optimizing new approaches will be of critical importance. - Oversee, implement and manage weekly and seasonal editorial calendar ensuring issue content is on brand, balanced and in keeping with broader seasonal message and objectives. Lead Fashion events - identify and build properties and events that benefit the Amazon Fashion brand and business, develop marketing and business objectives for the events, build the marketing strategy, drive the events to completion by partnering with external and internal stakeholders. This includes leading the Amazon India Fashion Week property. - Build a 12 month rolling marketing calendar integrating efforts across functions to deliver strong results Work effectively with and manage internal stakeholders to achieve business goals including but not limited to: - Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies across desktop and mobile in partnership with centralized teams. - Partner with category management to lead the promotions strategy and calendar. - Partner with central Marketing and Traffic teams to develop annual roadmap, budgets and testing plans. - Partner with the customer research team and softlines BI team for datamining, acting as the businesses customer expert discovering and sharing customer understanding across attributes, shopping and purchasing behavior. - Work directly with technology teams to influence their product roadmaps to scale successful programs. - Working with other internal teams such as legal/ finance on contracts and budgets - Manage external stakeholders tactfully (eg. FDCI) - this is very critical, given the industry and the importance of managing external stakeholders who are - Drive well-structured testing designed to validate the potential of marketing strategies and plans. - Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing marketing campaign execution, managing execution of events, analyzing traffic data and solving problems). - Communicate regularly with senior leadership, internal stakeholders and traffic team colleagues to understand objectives and opportunities - Lead Marketing WBR, MBR and QBR process. - Build, lead and develop a high performing team. - Track, measure and report on channel results and feed date into future plans. Basic Qualifications :&nbsp; - At least 12+ years of marketing, product management and/or ecommerce - Excellent verbal and written communication skill - Highly organized with attention to detail - Proven ability to build, manage, develop, and retain a high-performing team - Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred - Track record of delivering innovative solutions - Strong analytical abilities, particularly with respect to experimental design and analysis - Able to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams in different business teams Preferred Qualifications : - Exhibits excellent judgment - Has relentlessly high standards - Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution - Expects and requires innovation of her/his team Results oriented : Proven track record of continually innovating and advocating on behalf of your internal and external customers Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
