Amazon’s marketing team is looking for a seasoned marketer in online advertising. Amazon is aggressively growing our display advertising programs to support our growing businesses. We are seeking a strong marketer who can help build a vision, create a set of strategies, and succeed in achieving goals and objectives. To be successful in this role you will need to see the big picture, and execute in the near-term. You will be innovative in your thinking, and have proven success-influencing teams across an organization. You will understand both the art and science of online advertising, and have proven success in driving substantial results, ideally in B2C eCommerce, customer acquisition, lead generation and/or revenue generation. You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space, and understand the value of rapid test and learn approaches. You will be savvy about how to leverage large data sets to create sophisticated advertising programs leveraging the latest technologies such as advanced behavioral targeting, real-time bidding (RTB), demand side platforms (DSP), and dynamically generated creative. You’ll have a global mindset, and be equally comfortable working with marketers, product managers, engineers, and teams ranging from finance to analytics. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic problem solver and hands-on leader who combine an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think big, and surpass aggressive goals. In this role, the person would need to interact closely with the category management teams and support their plans through display advertising. He / she would also be actively engaged in providing feedback to the categories basis performance of display advertising campaigns. The role would also require close coordination with technology teams to arrive at solutions to automate any processes.  Responsibilities for this role include:  - Build the vision and strategy of Amazon's Display Advertising Program.  - Create innovative advertising programs which leverage cutting edge marketing technologies such as demand-side platforms, advanced behavioral targeting and dynamic creative generation.  - Partner with technology teams to create and deliver against aggressive roadmaps   - Deliver against project plans and deliverables on time and on budget.  - Develop and manage campaigns across a variety of technology platforms, inventory sources, and ad formats, leveraging both internal and external opportunities.  - Partner across finance, technology, and creative teams to plan, test, optimize, and grow display campaigns.   - Serve as the subject matter expert, partner with Amazon category leaders, international business units and Amazon subsidiaries to manage successful display advertising programs.  Basic Qualifications  - Bachelor’s degree  - Experience leading digital marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 brands  - 3+ years of interactive media buying and planning experience  - 8-10 years of demonstrated and progressive success, with substantial experience in digital marketing  - Strong analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis   - Adept at making data-driven decisions  Preferred Qualifications  - Significant experience leveraging other online marketing channels to drive B2C customer acquisition, lead generation and/or revenue generation preferred   - Successful experience managing a lean team and advertising agencies to plan, optimize and measure campaigns  - Executive-level written and verbal communication skills   - MBA or management consulting experience preferred
