Manager - Black Belt/Manager -Master BlackBelt  Finance Operational Excellence Black Belts apply 6 problem solving skills to continuously improve Finance processes, align them with customer requirements, and emphasize learning. Black Belts apply a mix of quantitative, consultative, and facilitative/leadership skills to the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) and Kaizen processes. Black Belts contribute to the development and deployment of the overall Finance Operation Excellence Program by facilitating and mentoring projects, conducting training events, developing materials, and providing metrics on improvements and performance of the program.  Responsibilities:  Finance Operational Excellence Black Belts are expected to:   - Lead DMAIC and Kaizen projects.   - Instruct portions of the Green Belt and Kaizen Training.   - Mentor Green Belts and Kaizen leaders through their projects.   - Support the Finance Operational Excellence Program with continued development of materials, techniques, and metrics.   - Contribute to the management of the portfolio of improvement projects, including the auditing of implemented projects to ensure that process improvements are sustained and benefits realized.  - Represent the Finance Operational Excellence team in local and global meetings/conference calls and with network-wide projects.  Finance Black Belt have a sound record of demonstrating the Amazon Core Values, Customer Obsession, Ownership, Bias for Action, Frugality, High Hiring Bar, and Innovation. Finance Black Belts have a documented track record in participating in, building rapport, leading, and facilitating process improvement teams consisting of members of all levels and functions, without formal reporting relationships, (especially experience in a Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen projects).   Basic Qualifications:  - MS/Bachelors of Engineering/Science Degree (Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent (e.g. 5 + years in a quantitative role - Engineering, Process Re-engineering, Quality)  - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification  - 2 years experience as a Six sigma Black Belt  - 2-4 years of demonstrated Change Management experience including the ability to work with improvement team sponsors to address barriers to a team's success.   - 2-4 years of Project Management experience, including managing a project portfolio, driving a timeline to completion, following-up, organizing multiple action plans within multiple functions.  - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including advanced functions such as importing & exporting data, pivot tables, and macros.  - Math & Statistics background. For example experience using: Quality tools, SPC, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, Statistical Analysis, Root Cause Analysis  Preferred Qualifications:  - Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification  - Additional accreditations a plus: Certified Lean Sensei, Certified Quality Engineer, etc.   - Advanced degree (technical such as MS in Industrial Engineering, or MBA) preferred   - Adaptable to various situation's and business processes to add value cross functionally  - SharePoint, Excel, Power Point, Access; Word and Statistical package (SAS, JMP or Minitab) and basic understanding of SQL queries,   - Demonstrated ability to communicate and present data and conclusions clearly to all levels of the organization, verbally to a group and in written form.  - Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction   - Predictive analytics, stochastic modelling  - Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately  - Courageous and willing to stand up for their ideas within appropriate guidelines
