We- re making history and the good news is that we- ve only just begun.  Role :  - The Finance Manager will work with operations to develop the forecast and report actuals on a weekly basis.   Duties will include :   - Managing and leading transportation business planning and forecasting, including leading a team of two analysts  - Ensuring excellent financial controller-ship over the transportation financial  - Continually analyzing and managing IN Transportation key metrics including cost, quality, and speed of delivery  - Communicating financial performance to business partners and senior management as well as corporate finance team  - Partnering with the IN Transportation team senior leadership to lead cost and quality initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, analyzing opportunities, and ensuring delivery of initiatives on schedule  - Developing and enhancing transportation planning and forecasting processes, including standardization of worldwide models  - Maintaining data integrity and periodically auditing key transaction data  Basic Qualifications :  - 9 + years of experience in finance, consulting, or a related highly-analytic field  - Strong modeling skills including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel   - Understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth  - Ability to build trust, influence, and guide senior management as well as direct and indirect business owners   - Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities  - Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload  - Excellent written communication skills in English  - Proven success in people management  Location : Bangalore  Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
