External Job Description:   As the Manager of Business Intelligence you will lead a team of Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Engineer and Research Scientists to drive high impact projects which provides clear business results. This will be a high adrenalin role with deliverables to multiple stakeholders. To be successful in this role,  - You will have worked on various Business Intelligence problems and have deep knowledge of backend databases, delivering high impact reports to stakeholders, building statistical models to solve real business problems.  - You will have managed a team of Business Analyst and Research Scientist and been the key person in delivering high business impact projects.  - You will be hands-on and can directly work on data preparation, analysis, modeling and reporting.  - You have top-notch stakeholder management and Project Management skills and can motivate the team to stay focused on the highest priority tasks.  - You are a prolific leader and have a history of growing people in your team and can create good opportunities for your team to learn and grow to achieve their career objectives  Basic Qualifications :  - Masters degree(preferably Computer Science or Business) and 10 yrs of relevant work experience  - Have deep knowledge in Data warehouse, SQL, R (or any other statistical package), Business statistics  - Excellent communication skills in written and oral English with the ability to face external and internal partners in a professional and mature manner.  - Experience in e-Commerce/Online business.  - Creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for operational excellence  - Ability to manage conflicting priorities at work- capability to work on several projects in parallel  - Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and a passion for delivering great customer experience is required  - Should show high ownership and institute process improvements wherever needed  - Should be able to operate fairly independently and displays autonomy and discretion at work  Preferred Qualifications :  - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Business with at least 10 years of work experience  - Led Business Intelligence teams in the past and have shown business impact in hundreds of millions of dollars  - Have hired and developed a Business Intelligence teams in the past.
