Realization / Controlling of Sales Strategies and Motivate, monitor and supervise Business development Team to improve the performance of the region.
Handle key accounts and monitor their performance on a regular basis. Set / Distribute / Monitor Monthly Sales Target for Tamil Nadu.
Identify Market Requirements for Tamil Nadu. (Products / Hardware / Airline participation / Promotional)
Ensure proper communication with other line managers of various departments to ensure seamless integration of work.
Analyze & prepare monthly sales report / other MIS reports.
Review the inventory on a regular basis in order to keep track of the stocks available. Carry out competitor analysis.
Oversee the assignment of accounts and agencies to sales executives and give feedback to the assistant sales manager.
Give sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
Meet with key clients, assisting sales executives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinate sales activities with other departments in terms of any new promotional activities, news and business.
Analyze and manage expenditures of sales department to confirm to budgetary requirements.
Lead Sales Executives regarding stations opportunities and market place developments and direct them to maximize revenue opportunities.
Establish and maintain local client relationships that can be used to maximize local and national revenue.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Ensure optimum usage of the Amadeus Hardware and internet connectivity provided to Travel Agents i.e. de-install hardware and connectivity from non-performing / low potential Travel Agent locations in Tamil Nadu
Candidate Requirement:
Graduate / Post graduate with thorough knowledge of travel related products.
Excellent communication & inter-personal skills.
Minimum 6-9 years of working experience in Business Development with travel industry
Working knowledge of Amadeus system or any other CRS system.
Knowledge of MS Office and other basic computer applications.
