We have an urgent opening for Assistant Manager into Marketing Analytics

Job Function Description:

Analytics - Marketing team is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies and providing inferences to the business within the financial services for a large global bank across one or more geographical regions. Typical activities vary from marketing planning functions, customer segmentation & targeting, model development and tracking, product offering and tracking and evaluation of marketing programs for liabilities and assets portfolios. The work would primarily involve the use of customer data and application of statistical tools and techniques to achieve following

Developing inferences and insights around customer behavior and profitable growth scenarios

- Design and develop marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle from acquisition to attrition management including customer contact management strategies.

- Monitor portfolio profitability & other key performance indicators in order to recommend strategies that align with business objectives for profitable growth.

- Asset and liability management and deposit pricing

Duties & Responsibilities

- Recruit, on-board, train, coach, develop talent and proactively retain high performing team members of analytics

- Ensure productivity and output of the team should fall in line with the stated SLAs. Monthly monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met

- Drive business benefits through self-initiated projects

- Manage relationship with key stakeholders in the Business (Onshore and Offshore) to build confidence in team, facilitate migration of additional responsibilities to team and enable stakeholders investment in development of the team

- Help the business understand the underlying drivers of profitability and help shape the strategic vision for team in the short and long term.

- Drive Analytics wide initiatives (Recruitment, Process-efficiency, On-boarding etc...)

- Identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to streamline them

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls

Qualifications: year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed University with concentration on marketing, finance, economics or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.

- Strong analytical skills with 5+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.

- Person should be a subject matter expert (SME) on a functional area and should have advanced understanding of sectoral trends & issues.

- Knowledge of forecasting and statistical modeling techniques, market research and multivariate analysis tools (e.g., factor and cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.) is a plus

- Knowledge of SAS, SQL and other equivalent analytical tools is a plus

- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
