AM - Intercompany Controller - BFSI

Responsibilities:

- Ensure BAU process runs effectively and efficiently per agreed timelines

- Ensure tracking and reporting of performance against agreed metrics

- Ensure compliance to control framework, report issues, if any, and implement agreed remediation plans;

- Feed into and participate in review & control processes (Eliminations attestation, LoR, FSLI)

- Investigate root causes with colleagues in finance reporting, product control, operations and front office to resolve recurring breaks

- Support the production of metrics to senior management

- Support tactical and strategic projects within the intercompany space

- Contribute towards building a client service and controls driven culture in the team. Actively encourage innovative thinking and nurture ideas directed towards problem-solving and efficiencies

Person Specification

Essential:

- Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA),

- Accounting background / experience in accounting.

- Strong academic background – 1st /2nd class honors, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution

Preferred:

- Knowledge of investment banking products

Experience

Essential:

- 3 to 6 years post qualification experience

Preferred:

- Experience in investment banks or first /second tier accounting firms.
