Deputy Manager - Data Demand Estimation

Organisation: Leading Telecom Company

Role purpose:

- The role is responsible for understanding the strategic industry and technology trends for data and creates demand estimates feeding in to Finance, Technology and Circles.

Job Description:

- Industry Tracking: Tracking industry and technology trends to identify opportunity and threats to the Data business as inputs to the Senior Management and team members for timely decision making. Interacting with industry analysts and bringing in third party views in to the business

- Demand Estimation: Projecting Data traffic and capacity demands for the Technology organization to plan roll out and prioritize upgrades

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Development and of the Data Budget and Long Range Plan. Tracking monthly achievement vs. the budget and providing inputs to the organization on areas of opportunity and concern

Criteria:

- 2 to 3 years of experience post MBA (Tier 1 college only) preferably with strategy consulting background
Background in forecasting/budgeting will be an advantage
