We have a team of 25 people from top quality academic and professional backgrounds.   - We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven and high achieving Chartered Accountant looking to enter the financial services space to join our Finance & Accounts Team.   - The CA shall be an integral part of all the Finance & Accounts functions and shall expect to become the CFO of the group over a period of next 5-7 years, and create significant value for him/herself over a period of time.  - The candidate will ideally be a qualified CA (rank holder preferred) with 3-5 years of work experience in F&A/Statutory Audit team of a leading organizations/Big 4s/reputed CA firms or have stellar work experience from a boutique CA firm.   - Experience in accounting/auditing of financial instruments like commodities, equities, derivatives, will be preferred.  Key responsibilities for the role are as follows :  Finalization of Accounts :  - Lead the Accounts Team to ensure accurate closing of books of accounts for group entities and consolidation of the accounts.  - . Ensure compliance with GAAP, CARO etc  - Set-up systems and processes for the Accounts team to implement - best practices-   - Monitor Accounting in Tally for all the group entities and entities of Senior Partners  Auditing :  - Liasoning with Statutory auditors to ensure compliance  - Work closely with Internal auditors/ risk management team to build checks and balances  Taxation :  - Actively recommend and monitor actions for income tax planning for all entities  - Head the GST transition project over a period of next one year  - Filing of monthly and quarterly TDS, Service tax and VAT returns. Handling queries from Tax departments and assisting tax consultants in case of Scrutiny / Search cases  Banking :  - Assist Top management in raising leverage from banks/NBFCs in preparation of CMAs, proposals etc  - Monitor cash flows for effective working capital management and ensuring optimal utilization of funds. Liaison with banks for routine banking operations  Top Management Reporting :  - Preparation of financial MIS for the top management review  - Assist the Top Management in decisions on organisation structuring   - Apply for licenses, permissions etc with SEBI, RBI or other regulatory authorities  - Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will be at par with industry norms.  - Office location will be in Lower Parel, Mumbai.  Only selected candidates will be contacted.
