We have a team of over 30 people from top quality academic and professional backgrounds.   We are seeking an entrepreneurial, driven and high achieving Chartered Accountant looking to enter the financial services space to join our Taxation Team. The CA shall be an integral part of all the Finance & Accounts functions and shall report to the CFO of the group. The CA, if s/he does well shall expect to create significant value for themselves over a period of time.  The candidate will ideally be a qualified CA (rank holder preferred) with 1-4 years of work experience in Indirect Taxation team of a leading organizations/Big 4s/reputed CA firms or have stellar work experience from a boutique CA firm - Indirect taxation. Experience in taxation of financial instruments like commodities, equities, derivatives, will be preferred.  Key responsibilities for the role are as follows :  GST migration :   - Lead the project on migration from VAT/service tax to GST  - Set systems, processes for operationalizing the requirements under the GST regime  - Engage with cross-functional team heads to design and implement tax compliant process  - Reviewing tax accounting, provisioning and interactions with auditors  - Manage vendor and client relationships from GST perspective  Income tax and other indirect taxes :   - Tax planning for all the group entities. Ensure completion of Tax Audits for all the entities.  - Analyse transactions for highlighting key tax risks and exceptions  - Designing framework for assessment readiness  - Assist the team on departmental audits, litigation and assessment proceedings  - Ensure filing of monthly and quarterly TDS, Service tax and VAT returns. Handling queries from Tax departments and assisting tax consultants in case of Scrutiny / Search cases  - Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will be at par with industry norms.  Office location will be in Lower Parel, Mumbai.  Only selected candidates will be contacted.
