AlgoSquare - Senior Consultant - Big Data/Advanced Analytics

Responsibility :

- Lead the Consulting initiatives for Customers as well as internal solution initiatives creating technical problem definitions and technical solution approaches

- Interface with Customers to identify opportunity for adoption of Big Data and Advanced Analytics based solutions for their Business and define the scenarios and use cases for implementing solutions

- Analyze high level requirements from Customers and create a roadmap for implementing Business Analytics

- Provide consulting for Technology architecture, evaluation and selection of platforms, technologies and tools best fit for Customer's needs

- Lead the Analysis, Architecture, implementation and deployment of high end solutions for Customers for Big Data and Advanced Analytics requirements

- Actively involve in creating industry solutions and generalized technical solutions, design frameworks and reference architectures

- Work as an effective team player, provide coaching and mentoring to technical architects/leads and work in a collaborative manner

- Involve in development of Design guidelines and Best practices across various Big Data and analytics platforms, tools and technologies

Experience :

- 10+ years of experience involving Consulting, Solution Architecture and implementation in Data Warehousing, BI and Analytics with 3+ years in Big Data, Advanced Analytics and Machine learning based implementations across industries

Required skills :

- Deep understanding of Big Data Analytics concepts and technology ecosystem

- Experience in defining technical solution architectures in Big Data & Advanced analytics areas for business requirements across various industry verticals

- Strong working experience in Advanced Analytics solutions/ projects using predictive and prescriptive analytics, Machine learning techniques/algorithms

- Working experience in R, Python, Mahout or other statistical modeling, Machine Learning packages/tools

- Working knowledge of Apache Spark, Spark SQL

- Working Experience across multiple platforms/utilities like Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra or MarkLogic, Storm, in memory databases, Cloud platforms

- Exposure to best practices in Architecture and Design, Development, manage performance and scalability and Testing for large scale implementations

- Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to Big Data analytics scenarios

- Ability to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously and work in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic environment

- Strong aptitude, problem solving, technology and business consulting skills presentation of ideas and solutions

Desirable skills :

- Hands on experience with programming languages like Python, Scala, Spark SQL

- Expertise in RDBMS and Data architecture, Data Quality and governance

- Experience in implementation of a project/solution for Digital or IOT

- Exposure to various MPP Databases, In-Memory BI/Analytics, Columnar databases, In-Memory DBs for large scale Data Management, BI and Analytics
