Purpose of the Job :  The main purpose of the Job is as below :  - Responsible for Sourcing of network equipment's Radio Access (2G/3G/4G), IP RAN, Transmission, Core etc.  - Working closely with Global Sourcing Team in India to implement the best practices of Sourcing in Africa  - Ensuring Transparency and enhanced governance in Network procurement.  - Tracking Costs and ensuring efficiency year on year  Key Deliverables :   - Selection, Development and Management of Strategic partners   - Create Efficient plans for Standardization and Sourcing Strategies  - Conduct cost bench-marking - Rationalization to get economies of scale  - Design programs to achieve targeted cost savings  - Effective contract management ( adherence to scope/ SLA's and KPI's of the contracts ):  - Management of Vendor expectations  Qualification & Experience : BE/MBA with over 2-4 years experience in Telecom Network Purchases
