Airmesh - Finance Director

Airmesh is an upcoming service that delivers Information, Communication and Entertainment anywhere, anytime on its Mobile Internet platform. airmesh is engaged in building next generation wireless networks to enable Mobile Internet and will serve as one of the biggest independent, carrier neutral and open networks that will leverage 4G technologies to create seamless MI experience.

Airmesh communications limited is a part of the airmesh group has recently been granted the license to provision Internet Services in India and is preparing to start the phased rollout for its nationwide next generation wireless broadband networks

The incumbent needs to handle entire gamut of financial operations, planning, business analysis, budgeting etc.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop, direct, and coordinate the account for actual, forecast and the business plan process

- Develop a system of financial and management information system to help the management in decision making

- Fund Raising and be instrumental in fulfilling ongoing funding requirement of the company with debt, equity as well as vendor funding

- Work closely with the founding team to setup financial processes and procedures

- Handle Profit Center and Cost Center financial framework

- Involve in direct & indirect taxation and tax planning

- Liaise with Banks FIIs, Investors, managing long term & short term Finance, fund management and strategies

- Ensure to create structure and methodology for completion of Statutory and Internal audit of the Company

- Support the corporate planning group through financial analysis

- Risk & Treasury Management

- Analysis of cash flows and P&L pro-forma scenarios

- Analyze viability/feasibility studies for the proposed Expansion/Diversification projects

- Oversee administration and maintenance of office, Company Law matters and procedures

- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Banking and Inventory

- Supervise and guide in preparing financial statements & ensure timely financial statutory compliances

- Exploring new avenues and areas of finance procurement and deployment

Desired Candidate Profile:

- CA / CFA with a working experience of 12+ years

- Experience in technology startups highly preferred

- Prior experience in a controllership role would be highly valuable

- A deep and extensive understanding of US GAAP & IFRS

- A deep and extensive understanding of Regulatory Reporting, Financial modelling concepts and Principles

- Should have proven ability to conceive business plans, financial models and monitor their success on an on going basis

- Should be comfortable to work in an Open environment

- Strong team player and naturally collaborative in approach

- High analytical, conceptual and strategic competencies

- Proven leadership capabilities and organizational skills
