Intent of the note: To delineate the job description and key deliverables for the Associate General Manager  Level

Role definition:

   1. To create and deploy integrated Marketing strategies at Brand, Segment and Company levels (as required) so as to achieve desired business results of Brand metrics, Sales Volumes and Contribution levels.

   2. To provide the critical link between supply & demand functions i.e. to integrate product definition process between Sales, Sales Planning, Customer Care and Planning

   3. To plan product and brand portfolios and orchestrate the launch of new products in the relevant markets

   4. Create product level business plan with volume, pricing and speed of sales inputs in order to deliver optimum gross margin & profitability. Provide sales with approved pricing & volume plan.

   5. To define new product pricing (pre-launch and launch) and to set the pricing ladder to guide the delivery of required contribution

   6. Identify & closely ensure brand health

   7. Provide consumer & market understanding to various parts of the organization

   8. To work with our advertising agency(ies) to create relevant advertising which is in-line with the proposed positioning

   9. To work out appropriate media strategy to meet brand objectives as also to deliver required efficiencies in terms of cost, exposure, OTS, and reach

  10. To monitor and manage marketing budgets for allocated brands

  11. To provide leadership of all brand related activities including but not limited to print advertising, outdoor, online, radio, events and all other non-conventional media

  12. To create understanding for planning launch of new products from a brand point of view
