AGM - Exports/Imports

Job Description of AGM-Exports & Imports:

Exports Management

- Working knowledge and management of rules & regulation under Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)

- Handling and controlling of Foreign Currency transactions and Forward Contracts

- Pricing Issues of Exports Final Products

- Debtors Management- Follow-up with the Overseas Buyers for payments and arrange payment thru PDC/TT

- Statutory Compliances

- Handling of Certification Issues

- Managing complete Export Logistic, Warehousing and Movement of Goods at Port (monitoring & reporting only)

- Liasioning with CHA, Shipping Lines/ Shipping Agents (managing & reporting only)

- Timely dispatch & follow up of Pre shipment and Post shipment documents with CHA (managing only)

- Co-ordination with Surveyors (for transit loss claims)

- Reconciliation of CHA, Transporters and other accounts

- Prepare MIS in regard to Goods at Port along with Age-wise analysis of Sundry Debtors along with Collection plan

- Negotiation with Bank for the Export documentation

- Manage all financial duties regarding export processes in an effective and responsible way

- Accounts reconciliation of various accounts.

Imports Management

- Managing Forex

- Pricing Issues of Imported Goods – Capital Expenditures & others.

- Creditors Management

- Statutory Compliances with respect to imports

- Handling of Certification Issues

- Plan and implement Import strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization.

- Knowledge of AS11 – Conversion & translation of Foreign Currency

- Knowledge of ERP – Baan & LN/SAP
