JOB DESCRIPTION :   Quality Assurance  Job Title : Quality Head   Position : AGM / DGM  Experience: 18-20 years  Location: Gurgaon  Compensation: Best in Industry  Education: B.E.-Mechanical Engineering preferred   Expertise : Six Sigma-Black Belt  Purpose & Role :   - Position quality function as an effective interface with in the internal organization and the external organization especially customers.  - Streamline system & procedure for the function to support the manufacturing activity.  - Create an efficient platform to handle customer complaint effectively.  - Build a talent pool which have quality control department that is both technically and behavioral mode and ideal function to support business needs of the organization.  - Build a training & development of human resources within the quality function and the line management resources appropriately.  - Spearhead quality culture within the organization. initiate necessary steps for the quality culture to be a way of business for the internal line management and the external vendor.  Job Description :   - Improve the process Quality  - Conduct Process, product & system audit and improve the quality management system  - Ensure monitoring of process capability  - Ensure that customer complaints and queries are handled within stipulated time  - In case of repeat complaints, monitor corrective action  - Creating Awareness to quality issues by displaying rejections and customer complaints   - Ensure incoming quality.  - Evaluate vendors on quality aspects  - Drive vendor development through supplier audits  Desired Candidate Profile :   Key Functional Competencies  - Six Sigma-Black Belt certification (mandatory)  - QMS   - Inspection / testing procedures and instruments   - Advanced SPC techniques   - Quality Concepts & Tools  - Analytical Ability  - Knowledge on friction materials  - Calibration & MSA  Behavioral Competencies required:  - Business Focus  - Strategic Thinking  - Commitment to Values  - Build Leadership  - Maturity  - Ownership  - Customer focus / orientation
